MHCT & DOST: Advancing Halal Compliance with Lead Auditors Training

At MHCT, we take pride in building impactful partnerships that advance the Halal industry. Our recent collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in the Philippines highlights this commitment to fostering global Halal compliance and strengthening the Halal ecosystem.

From December 2 to 4, 2024, we conducted a comprehensive Halal Lead Auditors Training Program at Bajada Suites in Davao City. Designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to drive Halal compliance, this three-day program covered critical topics, including guidelines on Halal food practices according to the MS 1500:2019 standard, the Halal Assurance Management System, and the fundamentals of Islamic Shariah. Prof. Dr. Hj. Rafek Saleh and Mr. Muhammad Haikal, our specialist trainers, provided a combination of informative lectures and practical exercises, guaranteeing a comprehensive learning experience.

We are pleased to inform that 58 members from various DOST regional offices completed the program, passing the thorough Halal Training examination and obtaining certification as Halal Lead Auditors. This accomplishment reflects DOST’s dedication to developing a robust Halal framework in the Philippines.

By empowering DOST with internationally recognized qualifications, this partnership is set to leave a lasting impact on the Philippine Halal industry. Together, we are fostering a Halal ecosystem that opens doors to increased trade opportunities locally and internationally, supporting sustainable economic growth.

MHCT Agency remains committed to advancing Halal awareness and building partnerships that drive positive change in the global Halal market. Let’s work together towards a future where Halal compliance fuels international trade and development. Contact us today to explore how we can collaborate.
