Davao City Hosts Halal Lead Auditors Training
Davao City, Philippines – July 10–12, 2024: The Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism (MTIT), through HT Mount Miracle Food Concepts Training and Consultancy in partnership with MHCT Agency, effectively conducted a three-day Comprehensive Halal Lead Auditors Development Training Programme at El Bajada Suites. Through this initiative, halal conformance practices were to be standardised on a global scale and in the Philippines.
Prof. Dr. Rafek Saleh, the Executive Director of the MHCT Agency, conducted and led the training. Representatives from a diverse array of BARMM ministries and agencies, including MTIT, BPDA, MOST, MAFAR, Bangsamoro Darul Ifta, and MBHTE-TESDA, attended the event. Additionally, representatives from the offices of MP Mohammad Yacob and MP Abdullah Hashim were present.
The training was designed to enhance the participants’ comprehension of Halal principles, improve auditing techniques, and provide insights into industry-specific regulations and ethical considerations.
